Lamp Bench

I was on a brief walk today and spotted this broken-off lamp sitting on a bench. I'm not sure how the nearby post got decapitated, but I thought it was interesting.

Slate Canyon

Joanna and I hiked up Slate Canyon today, around to Slide Canyon, and back down by way of the Y. It was a long, but good, hike! Somewhat surprisingly, there were still several feet of snow up top, although we didn't actually climb any peaks.

Imprint

I got new flip flops just a few days ago, and already I'm getting toe marks in them.

Area 75

I get the idea that Area 75 is much tamer than Area 51...though I guess I don't really know what they do with custodial equipment there.

Simple Bread

Joanna and I went to a class on making sourdough bread, and we made these little loaves of (normal) bread afterward. I'm looking forward to trying out the sourdough started we got, too.

Board Nails

As I was walking by a house being remodeled, I spotted this in the back of a truck.

Beans and Gnocchi

Two of the dishes Joanna and I prepared for dinner tonight. Dinner really turned out quite well.
