I spotted this sign on my way home tonight. I like the glow and the slight frame provided by the tree branches.

Rainy Picnic

Joanna and I had a picnic tonight. Unfortunately, it rained briefly a few times. Oh well, one of these days Utah will realize it's supposed to be semi-arid!

Belt Replaced

The new accessory belt (for the AC compressor and power steering) successfully installed.

Shredded Belt

I was driving home last Saturday when I heard a very loud whapping sound coming from under the hood. I pulled over and found that this belt (which runs the air conditioner compressor and the power steering pump) was about halfway gone, and the rest didn't look like it was going to hold on for too long. Today I removed what was left of the belt.

Clip Lamp

I bought this (and one other) to practice lighting small objects, based on the book Light: Science and Magic. I still need to actually do their examples, though.
